Ari Olmos

Vice President of Operations, Labor Voices

Ari Olmos is V.P. of Operations at LaborVoices.  He oversees LaborVoices' global operations, using mobile technology to continuously poll workers on their safety and working conditions and making that data accessible to multinational companies, workers, and civil society.  Since joining LaborVoices in 2013, Ari has led implementations with apparel workers in South Asia and migrant farm workers in Latin America. 

In 2009, Ari co-founded NextDrop (nextdrop.org), a social enterprise platform that uses mobile technology to alert residents in urban India about the availability of erratic piped water and provides distribution data to utility engineers.  Previously, Ari worked in microfinance in Peru, and consulted with social enterprises and researchers using mobile technologies for development in Mexico and Senegal.  Ari has a Bachelor’s in Economics from Stanford University and a Master’s in Public Policy from UC Berkeley.
