Jerry Macala

Jerry Macala was a doctoral student in Chemistry and a CNS Graduate Fellow from 2006 to 2008. he is a materials chemist working on catalysis projects to convert biomass derived substrates to fuels and fine chemicals. At the Center for Nanotechnology in Society, Jerry worked on science policy issues. He developed advanced scripts for harvesting information from the internet to help understand the process of technological innovation, and the environmental effects of nanoparticles.
