Sarah is a Masters Candidate in the Global Studies Department at UCSB, with interests in the impact of telecommunications technology on emerging economies.  At CNS-UCSB, Sarah worked with Rich Appelbaum in the Globalization and Nanotechnology group. She investigated the role of Foreign Direct Investment in China and India. Sarah received her bachelor’s degree in East Asian Studies from Connecticut College.
