Registration

Please register for the conference if you plan to attend any plenaries, sessions, or other conference activities. If you do not plan to participate in meals, registration is free. You will need to register in advance or on site to be admitted to the sessions; you may come and go as you please over the 2+ days of the conference.

Full registration includes all conference activities, meals, and tickets for the keynote address by Nicholas Kristof on Thurs evening 11/13/2014, an event co-sponsored by UCSB Arts & Lectures.

NGO Marketplace & Reception
Friday, November 14, 5:30-6:30PM
UCSB Corwin Pavilion

Learn about the exciting work of our NGO conference participants! NGO representatives will be hosting tables to showcase their current projects and past achievements. Students with an interest in working for nonprofits are welcome to meet with our invited guests to learn about opportunities and what it’s like to work in the nonprofit sector.

Registrants for the Marketplace & Reception are also encouraged to attend the preceding plenary (4:30-5:30PM), Meeting Workplace Needs – a moderated plenary panel of NGO representatives. The current context of a fast-changing technologies demands knowledgeable activists and advocates who can quickly adapt. Our panel will discuss the particular skills required for working in the nexus of science and civil society.

The Marketplace activity will take place in a relaxed, reception environment. Please join us to exchange ideas!
