Edgar Zayago Lau is a visiting Postdoctoral Scholar based at CNS-UCSB for 2012-2013.  He holds a Master Degree in International Development Studies from Saint Mary´s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and a Ph.D. in Development Studies from the Universidad Autonoma de Zacatecas (UAZ), Mexico. He is a full professor in the Development Studies Academic Unit at UAZ, and serves as the technical secretary for the Latin American Network on Nanotechnology & Society (ReLANS/ www.relans.org).
