UC Santa Barbara’s Center for Nanotechnology in Society CNS-UCSB hosts sponsors a diverse group of established and emerging scholars, scientists, policymakers, and social researchers. CNS researchers work together in cross-disciplinary teams to explore the social implications of nanotechnologies from multiple perspectives.. UCSB-based participants include faculty, post-docs, graduate students and undergraduates. The national advisory board and external colleagues include U.S. and internationally-based researchers from other academic institutions, government, non-profit organizations, and the private sector. The internship program draws from a pool of talented community college students.CNS researchers work together in cross-disciplinary teams to explore the social implications of nanotechnologies from multiple perspectives.
