Karl Bryant will lead an interactive demonstration and workshop on how to use NVivo, a powerful qualitative data management program. We will cover a range of NVivo basics, especially focused on data coding and analysis functions. No prior experience with NVivo or similar programs is necessary to attend. The workshop will be conducted using NVivo8; the bulk of material covered will be applicable to NVivo9.

Karl Bryant is an Assistant Professor of Sociology and Women's Studies at the State University of New York at New Paltz, and is currently a Visiting Researcher in the Center for Nanotechnology in Society. He received his Ph.D. in Sociology from UCSB, and is a CNS-UCSB extramural collaborator with IRG 3.
