CNS announces 2013-2014 Graduate Fellowship opportunities

CNS-UCSB announces Graduate Fellowships opportunities for Social Sciences and Humanities students and Graduate Fellowships for Science and Engineering Students. 

The Graduate Fellowship program for Social Sciences and Humanities runs for a 12-month period beginning September 22, 2013 and provides funding up to $35,000 and additional support for travel to academic conferences and other venues.  Fellows are integrated into CNS-UCSB research and other activities involving faculty, researchers, postdocs, and other students from the social sciences, humanities, and science and engineering disciplines.

The Graduate Fellowship for Science and Engineering runs for a 12-month period beginning September 22, 2013 and provides funding up to $17,500 annually for part-time commitment (approx. 8-10 hrs/week) and additional support for travel to academic conferences and other venues. Fellows are integrated into CNS-UCSB research and other activities involving faculty, researchers, postdocs, and other students from the social sciences, humanities, and science and engineering disciplines. Knowledge of new materials, chemistry, or toxicology is desirable.
