ISBER Brochure Highlights CNS-UCSB Contributions to S.NET Conference

The spring 2012 issue of the ISBER newsletter dedicates a section on the third annual conference of the Society for the Study of Nanoscience and Emerging Technologies (S.NET) that took place on November 7-10, 2011 in Tempe, Arizona. The conference, hosted on site by CNS-ASU and virtually by CNS-UCSB, attracted 205 scholars from 19 countries. S.NET is an interdisciplinary  professional society promoting intellectual exchange and critical inquiry about the societal implications of a broad range of emerging fields of science and technologies, including nanoscale science and engineering, biotechnology, synthetic biology, cognitive science, and geoengineering.
