Bryan Phillips was a  CNS-INSET Summer intern in 2012 . He worked with Zach Horton to research open source software and hardware development, and how open sourcing as an efficiency choice might affect developments in nanotechnology and their societal impacts. He transferred from SBCC  to UCSB in fall 2012.
