Paul graduated from UCSC in 2007 with a degree in Philosophy and is currently enrolled at SBCC where he is taking prerequisites for a second bachelor's degree in Biology.  His hope is to do graduate level neuroscientific research on the neurobiological mechanisms of consciousness. He is mentored by Roger Eardley-Pryor (IRG-1) and is working on a project that will study the role of nanotechnology in food with a focus on the history of industrial innovation in the bread industry.
